This is actually a very late post as I’ve been very busy with my work. I might be focusing on my experience of Dr. Tam Mateo's seminar but I will also be sharing other bits and pieces of my day.
My
boyfriend took me out on a date which according to him will make us spiritually,
intellectually and physically healthy. We attended a mass of Father Mario in
the morning and then a seminar of Dr. Tam Mateo in the afternoon. You must try
attending Father Mario’s mass which happens every Sunday at SM Megamall, you will
never get bored plus his mass were always aired on ABSCBN. Andrew is a big fan of his sermons. He is so enthusiastic,
funny and his stories are very timely that even the teenagers find him cool. So spiritually, Father Mario's sermon taught to me to watch my
thoughts about others, as Father Mario said, “Watch your thoughts;
they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions;
they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your
character; it becomes your destiny.”
After the mass, we ate
lunch, and then we moved on our way to Dr. Tam Mateo’s seminar. First, let me
share how we get there, we were actually just walk-ins. Well, you don’t need to
call for a reservation or schedule if you will just attend their seminar. We
searched online on how to reach their office and found this information;

We rode the UVExpress van with the sign Binangonan or Antipolo
passing by at the back of SM Megamall and asked the driver to drop us at Dr.
Tam Mateo’s Vegan House. Dr. Tam is very popular among those drivers so you don’t
have to worry. We paid Php15.00 for the fare. There is also a UVExpress van in
the SM Megamall terminal that goes through the same route but it asks for
Php40.00 for the fare. Travel time would only be 20 to 30 minutes.
Upon arrival in Dr. Tam's office, there were already people lining up
to sign up for the seminar. We lined up and wrote our name. Afterwards, they
gave us pamphlets and a food stub. Since
the seminar will start at 2:30pm, and it’s still early, we went to the vegan
house first which is located beside the office. I am really happy to see very
affordable, yet healthy products. I am amused to know that everything sold
there were made of vegetables. There were malunggay bread, spinach noodles,
coconut sugar, and a chicharon made from vegetable starch. I tried their beetroot
juice which tastes sour and bitter. It is quiet awkward but it felt good to
know you’re drinking something good for your body.
The paphlet and food stub
At 2:30pm we went to the venue of the seminar. It looks like a
basketball court turned to a seminar room. It is really big and I am surprised
to see that the chairs can all be filled with people eager to listen to his seminar.
A lot might have watched him in Salamat Dok, which made him famous for his
Naturopathy. The seminar started at 3:30pm, and by that time, people are still
coming. It was handled by Dr. Tam’s assistant who showed us some slides about
how the foods found in fastfood and even supermarkets poison our body. One
thing I can’t forget is that cows, pigs, chickens and even fruits and vegetable
were given chemicals so they can grow faster and it causes harm to our body when
we eat them. These chemicals alter our body which is the cause of cancer. It is said that consuming
them are deadlier than smoking cigarettes.
The seminar room
We thought we couldn’t hear from Dr. Tam but when his assistant finished talking, Dr. Tam came to the stage for another round of seminar. That is already around 6pm and it’s quiet late. We still decided to stay and listen. Dr. Tam’s seminar was more on biblical aspect to encourage us to go vegetarian. As I observed him, he is very far from the person we watched on TV. He is very simple, and talks very humbly as if he never appeared on TV and as if he isn’t famous. He is very down to earth. He shares how hard it is to maintain production of their products at the same price so everybody could afford it even if the prices of their materials (which they import abroad) were getting higher. He also explained how their products work. According to him, Miracle Tea cleanses our colon and detoxifies our blood and body while the Live Green supplies it with proper nutrients. There were also users who testified how they had cancer and how Dr. Tam’s products cured them.
Dr. Tam himself, notice how simple he is
The seminar ended at 8pm and we were surprised that Dr. Tam
provided us a free food from his vegan restaurant and a taste of his miracle
tea (review link). A free seminar with a free food? Woah! I thought that this
man is a real blessing to others. It’s sad to see others calling him a quack. Shame to those
people trying to get other persons down though that person has done nothing but
good to others. There is also a raffle wherein the winner will get a bottle of
miracle tea or live green.
Brown rice and Vegan Menudo. Those looked like it has pork, but they're made from vegetable starch
I have no regrets and I feel blessed being able to attend the seminar of Dr. Tam. Before leaving, we bought two bottles each of miracle tea
and live green to test it myself. I have consumed all of those by the time I
write this post, and you can find my experience and review of Miracle tea and
Live Green here (Click here for a complete review of Dr. Tam Mateo's Miracle Tea and Live Green). All in all, the experience was great. So I encourage you to try the same and spare a day for Dr. Tam Mateo's seminar. This is a good way to spend time with your love ones. It is indeed a spiritually, intellectually and physically healthy way of loving ourselves and our significant others. Cheers to a better us!

He is indeed a quack. He claims to be a graduate of Clayton College of Natural Healing which is now closed.
